# How it works

> The simple idea behind no-loss.

Goaly never touches the money you stake. Here's the whole idea:

    You bet USDT or USDC on an outcome.

  <Step title="Your stake earns interest">
    While the match is on, your stake is lent out in a [Morpho](https://morpho.org) vault and earns interest.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Everyone gets their stake back">
    When the match ends, every player reclaims their full stake.
  </Step>

  <Step title="The interest becomes the prize">
    The interest earned by the whole pool is the prize. Winners split it — and backing an underdog wins a bigger share.
  </Step>

**That's it.** Your bet earns the prize, so you can only ever **win or break even**.

  "No-loss" protects you from a **wrong prediction**. It can't remove the usual risks of using
  on-chain apps (smart contracts, DeFi).
